Following a number of speeches given by President Joe Biden this week featuring a raspy voice accented by coughs, a doctor's note has been released confirming that Biden is suffering from a cold, and has tested negative for COVID-19.

Biden was questioned about his voice on Friday morning during a speech regarding November's jobs report, where he responded that he has been having daily COVID tests and is checked for all strains.

"What I have is one and half-year-old grandson who had a cold who likes to kiss his pop," said Biden. "But anyway, it's just a cold."

In a letter from the president's physician, Kevin O'Connor, he confirmed that the president is experiencing "increased nasal congestion," and said that the president is feeling what is known as a "frog in ones throat."

"Investigation has included a comprehensive respiratory panel which includes 19 common respiratory pathogens, to include COVID-19, other coronaviruses, influenza, streptococcus, to name a few," the letter states.

"All of these tests were negative. Including the above, he has been tested for COVID-19 three times this week," it continues.

O'Connor wrote that treatment for the president will include over the counter medicines.
