Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on Thursday announced that the Biden regime has greenlit an additional $10 billion in economic assistance for Ukraine. The total US economic and military aid that has been sent to the wartorn nation now surpasses $115 billion to $200 billion over the past year.

"Providing economic assistance has made Ukraine's resistance possible by supporting the home front, funding critical public services, and helping keep the government running. In the coming months, we expect to provide around $10 billion in additional economic support for Ukraine," said Yellen.

"Putin himself thought he would achieve a victory at minimal cost... One year later, Putin's war has been a strategic failure for the Kremlin. Ukraine still stands," she said.

Biden is currently in Ukraine on a short-notice visit, where he confirmed to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that he would give the nation another $500 million in aid.

During his visit to Kyiv, Biden assured Zelensky that the US will stand with them no matter what. Biden previously vowed to fund the war in Ukraine "as long as it takes." He's promised not to send F-16 fighter jets, but less than a year ago, he promised not to send Abrams tanks, claiming that would mean the start of World War III, and those are reportedly on the way.

"One year later," Biden said during an address, "Kyiv stands and Ukraine stands. Democracy stands. The Americans stand with you and the world stands with you."

This is a breaking news story and will be updated.
