"19 pages of responsive records found. All withheld in full."
Investigative journalist Jason Leopold revealed Friday that the agency had refused to provide him with the relevant documents, citing a number of privacy concerns.
"Your request is denied in full," the department said in its response, admitting that there were "19 total pages with 19 fully withheld pages" that pertained to Leopold's questions.
The department went on to explain that it was withholding the documents in accordance with two Washington, DC statutes, the first of which prohibited the disclosure of "investigative techniques and procedures not generally known outside of the government."
Leopold requested that the agency turn over a copy of the Secret Service's call to the Hazmat team, as well as a copy of the test proving that the white powder was cocaine.
He also asked for pictures of the substance, emails referring to it, and final incident reports.
Under DC law, Leopold can appeal the decision, however it must be mailed to the mayor's office.
The discovery of cocaine in the West Wing of the White House was first confirmed on July 5, and before long speculation arose as to whose it was.
The Secret Service launched an investigation, but concluded just over a week later and declared that no suspect had been identified.
This is a breaking story and will be updated.

That's because the cocaine belonged to a member of the Biden family, and it's pretty obvious too.
