Shaun King, notorious BLM activist and "Christian" pastor for many years, has now converted to Islam on the first night of Ramadan.

Founder & Director of the Legacy Institute Hasib Noor posted on X: "One of the best news I've heard for Ramadan is BROTHER @shaunking accepted Islam. What an amazing man. WELCOME TO THE FAMILY Allahu Akbar!"

King self-identifies as black and formerly performed the role of a Christian pastor. Utilizing his substantial social media presence, he often issues threats of doxing towards individuals.

In 2017, King wrote "I was a Christian pastor for nearly 15 years. It disgusts me to see white supremacy & American bigotry masquerading as Christianity today."

In late 2023, King falsely claimed that he was instrumental in freeing American hostage Natalie Raanan from the grips of Hamas. King asserted that Natalie Raanan's family, whose members were among the American hostages freed by Hamas, supported him and that he played a role in facilitating their release.

However, the family contradicts this claim, stating that they did not know King until after the release. King shared on Instagram, "Hamas has just freed the teenager Natalie Raanan and her mother. I’m grateful." He added, "As I said last week, Natalie and her family have been supporters of mine and protested police violence in America alongside us."

After the post, Journalist Yuna Leibzon refuted King's assertion in a long thread on X, she said, "It is important to clarify: the family of Natalie and Yehudit Ra'anan says they have no idea who [Shaun] King is and they first found out about his existence after their release and reading the posts."

In 2018, Shaun King incorrectly implicated a white man, Robert Cantrell, as the "racist" murder suspect of 7-year-old Jazmine Barnes, a black child. King shared Cantrell's photo and name with his one million followers. Tragically, Cantrell took his own life. The actual perpetrator was a black man named Larry Woodruffe, who committed the crime.

In 2022, King threatened to dox multiple New York Post reporters and their families after the scribes published a series of unflattering reports about the activist's lavish spending and purchases.

In 2020, King tried to cancel Jesus, who he claimed was a symbol of white supremacy. King demanded that statues of Christ be torn down.

"Yes, I think the statues of the white European they claim is Jesus should also come down," said King. "They are a form of white supremacy, and always have been."

There is a mountain of evidence that King was born to two white parents, but the disgraced activist has maintained that his biological father is actually a light-skinned black man, despite what his birth certificate says.
