Surveillance video from the attack on Paul Pelosi has been released, showing suspect David DePape using a hammer to break into the home of former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and her husband Paul Pelosi.

The video shows Depape smashing the hammer against the glass to gain access to the home.

Police also released on Thursday the bodycam footage from the night of October 28, 2022, when DePape allegedly assaulted Paul Pelosi with a hammer, as well as the 911 call made by Pelosi.

"Hey guys, how are you?" Pelosi said, with video showing DePape and Pelosi standing next to each other. DePape is seen holding the handle of a hammer of which the head was grabbed by Pelosi.

"What's going on, man?" an officer is heard asking. "Everything's good," DePape is heard responding.

The police officer ordered that DePape drop the weapon, to which DePape said, "um, nope."

"What is going on right now?" the officer said seconds before DePape freed the hammer, and swung it, hitting Pelosi in the head.

"Oh sh*t," one of the officers said as they rushed into the house to tackle DePape. As officers are handcuffing DePape, Pelosi is seen lying motionless on the floor behind him groaning.
