Miami fans of UFC were treated to a surprise appearance by the 45th President of the United States Donald J. Trump. The crowd at the arena exploded with applause for Trump, who was in attendence with Kid Rock, Mike Tyson and UFC boss Dana White.
The event was UFC 287 and the venue was the Kaseya Center in downtown Miami.
When the presence of President Trump was announced to the crowd, they went nuts and erupted in a chant of "U-S-A! U-S-A!"
One Twitter pundit quipped that the sight of Trump with Kid Rock, Mike Tyson and Dana White was "How to trigger the left in one amazing photo"
Four days ago, Trump was arraigned in New York City in what many see as an act of political persecution.
"This fake case was brought only to interfere with the upcoming 2024 election, and it should be dropped immediately," Trump said at Mar-a-Lago in an energetic and well-received speech after the arrest. "The only crime I have committed is to fearlessly defend our nation from those who seek to destroy it."
The response of the UFC crowd mirrors recent polls which show that the popularity of Trump is on the rise.
