Liberal Minister of Infrastructure Catherine McKenna dyed her hair green in support of the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), as well as the start of environment week.

The hair colouring comes as CHEO seeks to raise funds for mental health services, with different dollar amounts being goals for various celebrities to shave or dye their hair.

The change of McKenna's hair colour came along with hitting the $70,000 threshold, with the fundraiser now sitting shy of $104,000.

Other dollar amount thresholds include Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson shaving his head at $1 million.
