The celebrity actress Drew Barrymore has been dubbed a racist after posting a TikTok video of her enjoying some rainfall which a woke user claims is copying the trend of "black men frolicking."

Libs of TikTok posted the video Thursday which featured TikTok user @amushroomblackly saying Barrymore was an example of a colonizer "who disrespect and dismiss the boundaries that black creators have set" because the video resembles the frolicking trend.

According to the Daily Mail, a viral trend featured black men running around joyously in fields or other natural settings popped up in May. Barrymore’s video depicts her walking out into the rain with a huge smile.

"Whenever you can, go out into the rain!" the actress says in the video shared with her 6.5 million followers. "Do not miss the opportunity."

@amushroomblackly responded, "You and I both know you are capable of enjoying the rain, frolicking freely, without filming it and posting it to TikTok."

The woke user continued to say that Barrymore "cosigned people who just go out of their way to disrespect and dismiss the boundaries that black creators have set."

"And now you're one of those people," she added.

The TikTok that started the #blackmenfrolicking trend was posted by @thexsadxoptimistic in May. The user runs through a field, laughing and shouting "oh my god, I'm running through a field frolicking!"

The hashtag was used more than 600k times on the platform as more people joined the trend.

Politician Shukri Abdullahi Abdirahman tweeted, "I'm so utterly confused. Somebody, please explain to the connection between frolicking in the rain and black people?"

@amushroomblackly followed up with several videos and doubled down on her critique. She also mocked Barrymore's childhood. "Aw poor Drew had a hard childhood, said the white woman to the black woman."

When people disagreed with her critique, she said they "dismiss my opinion on my own TikTok, but defend Drew."

Barrymore's video opened the floodgates for people who disrespect black creators, @amushroomblackly argued. She also criticized those who mocked her stance saying "ya'll are so reactionary... I said what I said."

Barrymore had posted a similar video in May, where she again encouraged people to get out and enjoy the rain.

Barrymore's critic claimed, "I guess my question would be why is it so important to all of you to treat us like we don't matter?" before laughing and ending her criticism.
