Green Party Leader Elizabeth May claimed that the car accident between a black driver and two Black Lives Matter protestors, which resulted in the death of one, was a targeted incident, without citing any evidence whatsoever.

Summer Taylor was one of two protestors who were transferred to Harborview Medical Center after being hit by the oncoming vehicle while standing in the middle of the I-5 highway. She would later succumb to her injuries. Diaz Love, was in serious but stable condition.

"I’m alive and stable," Love said in a Facebook post Sunday. "In a lot of pain. I cannot believe Summer was murdered. If they thought this murder would make us back down, they are very wrong. Very wrong."

"My FB is filled with death threats, that and only being able to use one hand has me going slow. I deeply appreciate and feel all the love y’all are sending me," she continued.
