Elon Musk made an offer to free agent Don Lemon.

Musk responded to Lemon's tweet last night about his dismissal from CNN, saying that Lemon should bring his next endeavor to Twitter because of the platform's larger audience.

The Twitter CEO is looking to capitalize, as the offer comes just after Tucker Carlson, formerly of Fox, announced on Tuesday that he would be bringing a new version of his show to the platform.

The offer was made directly to Lemon on Twitter, with Musk asking, "Have you considered doing your show on this platform? Maybe worth a try. Audience is much bigger."

Musk and Lemon have some history together. In November 2022, he posted an image of Lemon on Twitter, alongside a caption that read, "Elon Musk could threaten free speech on Twitter by allowing people to speak freely."

Lemon has not yet responded to Musk's offer.
