Furries protest against women's rights activists in Scotland

"KJK's events in the past have attracted Proud Boys, white supremacists, and people who approvingly quote Adolf Hitler's ideologies from Mein Kampf," Furries Against Fascism wrote.

Women's rights activist Kellie-Jay Keen was met with hundreds of supporters of her anti-gender ideology Standing for Women rally in Glasgow, Scotland, as well as Antifa, trans activists, and furries who came out to counter-protest.

The rally took place in George Square on Sunday, which brought out left-wing activists screaming words like "TERF," otherwise known as "trans-exclusionary radical feminist" at Keen and the other speakers as they denounced radical gender ideology.

"No TERFs in our turf!," the counter-protestors could be heard yelling.

Signs carried by the protestors on the women's rights side were seen holding signs displaying messages including "Men are not Women," and "Children are not lab rats - stop the madness of 'trans' mutilation and sterilization."

Another banner carried by two women called to keep biological males who identify as women out of women's prisons, displaying the face of Isla Bryson, a convicted double rapist who began transitioning while awaiting trial. According to Bryson's estranged wife, the sexual predator is "bulls***ing" authorities to have "an easier life in prison" by identifying as trans in order to be housed with females. Last week, the Scottish government removed Bryson from the Cornton Vale women's jail as well as barred any other biological male from women's correctional facilities pending an "urgent review."

In one video from the event, Keen could be heard standing firm against the protestors, informing them that her group will not stop speaking out.

"We will be calling you men!," was met with loud cheers from the crowd. "We will be saying that no woman has a penis! We will be saying that no man has a vagina! We will be saying that non-binary is nonsensical! And we will never stop saying that transitioning children is abuse!"

The rally also featured a young woman named Ellie who had transitioned from ages 12-19 and then detransitioned, who detailed how the trans community turned on her when she began questioning their ideology.

"Everyone I had ever been friends with, I had ever known, and I thought had loved me has left me," she said to the crowd.

According to The Post Millennial's Andy Ngo, Ellie revealed self-harm scars on her arms.

Trans Radio UK, a "worldwide radio station for and by the transgender community," posted the counter-protest information, rallying together activists from the "antifascista" community as well as the "furries," who are adults who dress in anthropomorphic animal costumes, often a display of a fetish.

In their post, they asked people to join the "Furries Against Fascism" effort to "help us challenge their hate speech."

"KJK's events in the past have attracted Proud Boys, white supremacists, and people who approvingly quote Adolf Hitler's ideologies from Mein Kampf," the post reads.

According to Twitter posts from the event, at least one furry did actually show up to protest.

A Twitter user also pointed out that Scottish National Party politician Christina McKelvie, the Minister for Equalities and Older People, "liked" the post.

"A Scottish Government minister backing the furries who are out to silence uppity women. What an absolute shanner of an administration," the tweeter wrote.
