A former employee of a local restaurant where two of the slain University of Idaho students worked says murder suspect Bryan Kohberger visited the establishment at least twice.

In a Thursday report from People, an anonymous employee of Mad Greek restaurant in the college town of Moscow, Idaho, revealed that Kohberger came in and ate where Madison Mogen and Xana Kernodle also worked as waitresses.

The other two of the four students killed on Nov. 13 in a residence near campus were Kaylee Goncalves and Ethan Chapin. All victims were found brutally stabbed to death by police after a call made by a surviving roommate alerted authorities to the crimes.

When visiting the Mad Greek, Kohberger ordered a vegan pizza, the source said.

Kohberger, a criminology PhD student who was studying at the nearby Washington State University, adheres to an "extremely strict vegan diet," according to the New York Post.

The former restaurant worker noted that they remembered the order because Kohberger wanted to ensure that no animal products came in contact with his food.

A former family member of Kohberger's — an aunt who was once married into the family — also claimed that his dietary restrictions were "very, very weird."

"It was above and beyond being vegan," the anonymous woman told the New York Post.

"His aunt and uncle had to buy new pots and pans because he would not eat from anything that had ever had meat cooked in them. He seemed very OCD [obsessive-compulsive disorder]."

Investigators have interviewed other employees and the owners of the restaurant, as well as obtained surveillance footage, People reported.

The claims that Kohberger visited Mogen and Xernodle's place of employment appears to back up theories that he was stalking the girls before killing them, though it isn't clear if he interacted with any of the victims at the restaurant.

However, an inside source claimed to People that he "slid" in one of the victim's direct messages several times without getting a response.

"He slid into one of the girls' DMs several times but she didn’t respond. Basically, it was just him saying, ‘Hey, how are you?’ But he did it again and again," and investigator familiar with the case told the outlet.

The messages were sent around the time that police say he was stalking the victims. Additionally, his cell phone pinged in the same location as the slain students leading up to the killings.
