Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump, blasted Vice President Kamala Harris over the Biden administration's failure to address the ongoing crisis at the United States-Mexico border.

During an appearance on Justice with Judge Jeanine, she reacted Saturday to the vice president's failed diplomacy tour over the past week.

"What I find incredible is that the argument that they're making that the border is closed […] if they actually go to the border, the press will follow them, and they'll find out that the border's wide open," Fox News host Jeanine Pirro stated.

Trump answered: "Oh, without a doubt. It is the reason—the exact reason—that they won't go." She called the situation "insulting" and "embarrassing."

"This is a woman [Harris] who thinks she can cackle her way out of a tough question. It is absolutely ridiculous. She's clearly in over her head. She had one job assigned to her—to address the crisis at the southern border. Not only has she not addressed it, it has gotten significantly worse," Trump fired.

Harris was placed in charge of the border crisis by President Joe Biden towards the end of March. In the new role, Harris is now the top official tapped to address immigration in America and will negotiate with the national leaders of Mexico and other Central American nations. Harris still won't commit to when she will visit the United States-Mexico border, emphasizing that the Biden administration has to prioritize the root causes of the ongoing border crisis. She has maintained that the White House needs to focus on the places that are causing the issue.

"But the reality of it is that we need to prioritize what's happening at the border and we have to prioritize why people are going to the border," Harris insisted.

At one of the pressers, Harris told migrants in Guatemala not to come to America. "And I want to emphasize that the goal of our work is to help Guatemalans find hope at home, at the same time I want to be clear to folks in this region who are thinking about making that dangerous trek to the United States-Mexico border…Do not come," Harris said at the press briefing with Guatemala's president.

Fox News played dramatic footage of migrants crossing the border by foot.

"This is horrifying stuff. It must be so insulting to the folks that actually work on the southern border, to our Border Patrol agents, to our ICE agents, to the people whose jobs it has been for so long to deal with this," commented Trump.

"It's like they're being made a mockery of by our very own president and vice president. Shame on them. It is absolutely disgusting and disgraceful to see," she added. "And I don’t know what you tell the people that live at the southern border. I guess they better arm up and get guns and be ready. And maybe they're going to have to start taking matters into their own hands."

"These people should never make this dangerous journey here. It's bad for Americans. It's bad for the migrants. It is bad all around," Trump concluded.
