Democrat Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is in the spotlight after he retracted occupancy restrictions the state’s houses of worship following a lawsuit filed by Thomas More Society.

On March 15, 2021 Walz's Executive Order, 21-11, lifted all restrictions involving attendance at churches in Minnesota. The restrictions that were in place prior limited church's to 50% capacity.

Walz's critics took to Twitter to voice their frustration with his actions.

“The dominoes are falling in favor of abolishing the states’ limitations on church attendance,” Thomas More Society counsel Erick Kaardal told the Daily Wire.

According to the Daily Wire, the Thomas More Society filed charges against both Walz and Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison last August on behalf of 3 separate Minnesota churches.
