A private calendar belonging to notorious sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein shows a list of scheduled meetings with high-profile clients that include the current director of the CIA, an Obama administration attorney, and a college president, according to newly-released documents obtained by Wall Street Journal.

The documents reveal that CIA Director William Burns, Obama White House attorney Kathryn Ruemmler, and Bard College president Leon Botstein had scheduled meetings with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein after his 2008 conviction for child sex crimes. According to the WSJ report, the outlet could not determine if these meetings took place.

Kathryn Ruemmler, who served as an attorney under the Obama administration and currently works for Goldman Sachs, is said to have met with Epstein "dozens of times" before signing on with the global investment firm as their top attorney in 2020. According to the documents obtained by WSJ, Ruemmler was planning on joining Epstein for a trip to Paris in 2015, and for a trip to his private Caribbean island, otherwise known as "Epstein Island" in 2017.

A spokesperson for Goldman Sachs denied that Ruemmler accompanied Epstein on those trips and told Fox News that when she was employed at Latham & Watkins LLP she had a working relationship with Epstein who referred clients to her such as Bill Gates.

"Many of Ms. Ruemmler's contacts related to a potential representation involving the Gates Foundation, a representation of the Edmond de Rothschild bank, and other business opportunities," a Goldman Sachs spokesperson told Fox News.

Ruemmler told Wall Street Journal that she "regrets knowing Jeffrey Epstein."

When pressed about CIA Director William Burns' involvement with Jeffrey Epstein, CIA spokeswoman Tammy Kuperman Thorp told the publication that, "They had no relationship." She explained that Burns met with Epstein when he was contemplating leaving the government spy agency.

"The director did not know anything about him, other than that he was introduced as an expert in the financial services sector and offered general advice on transition to the private sector," Kupperman Thorp said.

As for Leon Botstein, president of Bard College, who met with Epstein numerous times in 2012, said tha the meetings were for the sole purpose of soliciting help to fundraise for the liberal arts college, and they reportedly had no other relationship.

"I was an unsuccessful fundraiser and actually the object of a little bit of sadism on his part in dangling philanthropic support," Botstein told WSJ. "That was my relationship with him."

Although knowing Epstein was convicted of child sex crimes, Botsein told the outlet that he still decided to ask for donations because the college believes in rehabilitation.

"We looked him up, and he was a convicted felon for a sex crime," Botstein said. "We believe in rehabilitation."

Another name revealed on the list includes MIT professor Noam Chomsky who met with Epstein numerous times between 2015 and 2016 where he told the outlet that they discussed politics and academia. Epstein donated $850,000 to MIT between 2002 and 2017. Chomsky said that those funds have now been donated to sex abuse victims.

"The reporting covered 2015-16 when what was known about Mr. Epstein was that he had been sentenced for a crime, served his sentence, which wiped the slate clean according to US law and norms," Chomsky told Fox News.

"The gossip column chose not to publish the extensive information they have about far worse criminals who not only donate to MIT and other institutions but, far more serious of course, are greatly honored by them," Chomsky added.

Other high-profile names that were revealed in the report include Harvard University professor Martin Nowak, Ariane de Rothschild, CEO of the Swiss private bank Edmond de Rothschild Group, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, anthropologist Helen Fisher, and Joshua Cooper Ramo, former Starbucks and FedEx board member.

It was also revealed earlier this month that several senior bankers from JPMorgan Chase met with infamous child predator Jeffrey Epstein after 2013, despite claims that the company ended its relationship with the convicted sex offender that year.

Epstein was found dead in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019 while on trial for sex trafficking.
