Florida Gov. Ron Desantis's  2-day inauguration festivities feature sponsorship packages starting at $25,000 to rub elbows with the possible 2024 GOP presidential contender and second term Florida governor, with some VIP tickets going for $1 million.

Five top donors a $1 million a pop will be able to serve as "inaugural chairs," Politico reports.

The VIPs will receive tickets to an inauguration eve candlelight dinner, VIP seating at the swearing-in ceremony on the steps of the Old Capitol, as well as access to the inaugural ball and another party, called a "Toast to One Million Mamas," hosted by Florida first lady Casey DeSantis's campaign group.

The donors will also get a picture with the governor.

According to the outlet, the funds could go to the state party, which would be barred if he announced his candidacy for the 2024 presidential contest.

In the last campaign cycle, DeSantis raised over $200 million for his reelection which he won by 20 points against Democrat Charlie Crist. According to campaign filings from last month, over $60 million is left in the bank.

Recent polls show DeSantis increasing his potential lead over former President Donald Trump, the only Republican candidate who has again announced his bid for the White House.

Before the midterm election in November, Trump branded his potential rival "Ron DeSanctimonious."

Trump has taken credit for the Florida governor’s meteoric rise after backing DeSantis when he was a Republican congressman in his 2018 primary in the Florida governor's race.

DeSantis gained popularity nationally with his response to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, as Democrats were excoriated by Republicans for their onerous lockdowns.

He has also gained notoriety for his stance on traditional values in the culture wars which has helped raise his national profile.
