Toronto woman shot in car at Exhibition Place

A Toronto woman has been hospitalized after she suffered severe injuries following a shooting Friday morning around 7 am at Exhibition place.

A Toronto woman has been hospitalized after she suffered severe injuries following a shooting Friday morning around 7 am at Exhibition place.

Crews arrived at the scene at Princes’ Boulevard and Newfoundland Road, near the Enercare Centre, minutes after 7 am.

It is believed that the woman was shot while driving her car westbound on Lake Shore Boulevard West near Rees Street. The altercation came to an end on Princes’ Boulevard.

Another woman was in the car, but she did not suffer any injuries. Information about a suspect is yet to be released.
