On Friday, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton sat down with Sophie Grégoire Trudeau on stage at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The trio discussed a wide variety of topics related to the Clintons’ new series, “Gutsy,” and at one point the former secretary of state even offered relationship advice to the wife of Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau.

“That’s not the right choice for everybody,” Hillary said after explaining why she’d stayed in her marriage. “Sometimes the gutsy thing is not to, but everybody should be given the opportunity to make those difficult choices about relationships the best that they can.”

Hillary went on to list numerous examples of women she and her daughter spoke with in “Gutsy,” including feminist Gloria Steinem, who left her fiance after deciding getting married was not the right move for her.

“So does being gutsy mean reimagining love and relationships?” Grégoire Trudeau asked, adding that “love is taking on so many different forms now, from all gender, from all races.”

“Really as long as human beings are happy, is it not our responsibility to keep an open mind to reimagine how love can express freely?”

“Amen!” Hillary replied.

On Monday, Grégoire Trudeau posted pictures of the event on Instagram, calling it a “special moment” with “brave women.”

“We discussed the importance of female leadership, emotional well-being and literacy, building bridges between people of all genders, backgrounds or cultures,” she wrote in her caption, “as well as the role of nature, humour, and taking leaps of faith while we are all trying to courageously follow our life paths!”

She described these things as “important themes for a better democracy and more justice in the world.”

“I didn’t have Sophie Grégoire Trudeau asking Hillary Clinton … for relationship advice on my 2022 bingo card,” True North’s Cosmin Dzsurdzsa wrote on Twitter, pointing out that Bill Clinton is an “Epstein Island-pal.”

The former president was also embroiled in an infamous sex scandal with his then-intern Monica Lewinsky, which put a strain on the Clintons’ marriage.
