WATCH: AOC claims Elon Musk censored her Twitter after spat over checkmarks

"I was—like—what!? So I pulled my Twitter app and it's—like—gone—like—when you pull up your mentions, and stuff like that, it's just—like—literally—like—a blank screen," AOC said while eating a chicken nugget.

New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took to her Instagram on Thursday to claim that Twitter owner Elon Musk was trying to censor her because she "got under" his skin.

In her video AOC said, I was at a community event in the Bronx in coop city. And when I get home I see a text from my team saying 'hey let me know if you need any help with this Elon stuff.' And, I was—like—what!? So I pulled my Twitter app and it's—like—gone—like—when you pull up your mentions, and stuff like that, it's just—like—literally—like—a blank screen. Totally gone. And I was—like—hmm, that's weird, so it turns out, we got under a certain little billionaire's skin."

AOC and her team's description of the censoring sounds more akin to a very common Twitter glitch that can be rectified by clearing the cache and cookies of a user's browser.

Ocasio-Cortez made the claim while loudly devouring what appeated to be a chicken nugget. She managed to rip strands of the greasy foodstuff slowly yet constantly spoke with her mouth full.

Benny Johnson noted on Twitter, "Nothing proves @AOC is a sociopath more than the way she eats her chicken nugget in this cringe video."

Libs of Tik Tok said, "I can’t stand people who eat while they film themselves."

AOC's comment follow a tête-à-tête the two had over Musk's plan to charge $8 for verified accounts to keep their blue checkmarks. After AOC complained about the move, Musk replied, "Your feedback is appreciated, now pay $8."

She reiterated on Twitter the same sentiment she posted on Instagram, that Musk had to censor her after their exchange.

Tim Pool commented, "AOC is such a narcissist that she thinks Elon went into the code to hide mentions from her app because he got mad at her."

Musk called AOC out on her aggressive behavior towards him in April after a similar back and forth which ended in the billionaire telling her "stop hitting on me."
