Stand-up comedian, podcaster and author Jimmy Dore was a guest on Tucker Carlson Tonight, where they two of them were talking about AOC and the "chilling effect" of her going after people who criticize her.

The captions of the various videos on the thread read, in order:

"@jimmy_dore On @AOC Calling For Her Critics To Be Silenced 'She has over 11 million Twitter followers and she won't mobilize her followers to get healthcare or get a $15 minimum wage or get student debt relief, but she will mobilize her followers...to be snitches.'"

"Tucker: 'Ryan Wentz hadn't included any personal information in his social media profile and yet the police knew his name and they knew exactly where he lived. How did they find him? It seems likely that Twitter turned Wentz into authorities on behalf of their friend @AOC.'"

"@jimmy_dore: 'We're entering a very dangerous era of censorship Tucker, where the interests of Silicon Valley & the Democratic Party have merged with the Biden/Harris administration, and the establishment wants to stifle discontent by stifling speech.'"

"@jimmy_dore: "It's chilling when the powerful want to insulate themselves from criticism.'"

During the interview, Dore and Tucker are mainly talking about the fact that the California Highway Patrol appeared at the Los Angeles home of left-wing activist Ryan Wentz "on behalf of the Capitol Police."

The officers proceeded to interrogate Wentz, saying that he was under suspicion for making threats to a member of Congress (AOC).

Wentz showed them the actual post in question, which read:

"On April 1, @AOC did a livestream with Michael Miller, the head of the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York. She was asked about 'peace between Israelis and Palestinians.' Her response was incredibly underwhelming, to say the very least:"

"I’m really shaken up right now. I was just visited by two plainclothes police officers from California Highway Patrol at my home. They said they came here on behalf of the Capitol Police and accused me of threatening @AOC on Twitter yesterday. This is provably false."

"It turns out, an 'extremist' is anybody who disagrees with AOC, from the right or from the left," said Tucker as he introduced Dorn and welcomed him to the show. Dorn's podcast is also decidedly left of center.

Dorn has also been targeted for censorship. He told his story to Tucker and viewers:

"I was pushing a thing called 'force the vote', which was trying to get the progressives in Congress to withhold their vote from Nancy Pelosi, to force her to bring Medicare for all up for vote on the floor."

"And I was criticizing them because they ran on doing such a thing, they ran on confronting the establishment power of Nancy Pelosi, and they wouldn't do it."

"So I was telling people to stop protecting her, and she said 'that's not tone, that's violence.'"

"So when someone as powerful as AOC says that, that's chilling."
