Videos uploaded to Twitter document a seemingly unprovoked water cannon attack by Dutch police that leaves a woman bruised and bloody.

The Netherlands has seen continued protests nationwide over the past week, as people are fed up with the current lockdown measures which have been in place since December.

The tweet reads "Meanwhile in Eindhoven..."

The video shows a man in a brown suit, perhaps some sort of a bear suit, holding a sign. He doesn't move through the whole video. To his right, a couple in dark clothing are walking past, and the water cannon opens up on them, hitting a woman squarely. She goes flying into a curved structure and falls flat on her face.

The next video shows the aftermath of the incident. The man his holding the woman as her face is clearly battered and bloodied badly. Near the end of the video, he turns back to the water canon and curses at it.

"Zie hier de dame ná 't waterkanon (tweet hiervoor) #Eindhoven", which translates to "Here is the woman from the water cannon [attack] (see previous tweet)".

"Netherlands is brutalizing anti-lockdown protesters. And opportunist economic refugees are rioting and looting amid the chaos."

So far, over 100 people have been arrested in the turmoil, as Dutch people continue to take to the streets to make their voices heard.
