Portland continues to be an especially large hotbed of Antifa and their related activities. Things have intensified over the past several weeks, with almost continual protest actions and clashes between the demonstrators and authorities.

According to the Customs and Border Patrol authority of the US government, an undisclosed number of additional federal officers are being deployed to Portland, Oregon in the latest of a series of escalations on the part of demonstrators in the city, where riots are occurring on a nightly basis in the area surrounding the federal courthouse.

Violence in the city continues to get worse as the courthouse has recently become a target for some of the more violent protestors, who come out under cover of darkness after the mostly peaceful rallies taking place in daylight begin to disperse.

Concerns have reached a new level today because of a recent find by Portland police officers. An unmarked bag was left in a park in downtown Portland. The bag contained improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and several rifle magazines, fully loaded and ready, as was reported by ABC news.

Even more alarmingly, just a couple hours earlier in that same park, there had been gunshots heard. The presumed victim later checked into a hospital with non-serious injuries due to gunshot wounds. Investigations are currently underway as to possible connections between the shooting incident, the cache of weapons, and the riots.

Police officers in Portland and Seattle have recently been injured by the dozens by violent rioters, and three or more federal agents who were tasked with protecting the courthouse in Portland have possibly permanently lost their eyesight due to attacks with high-powered lasers.
