Far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), launched an attack on the  "political middle" in her speech following the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

The "political middle" or centrism, is defined as not having an exclusive allegiance to neither the left nor right wing. This is seemingly the majority of America.

Shocking many, Ocasio-Cortez claimed on Saturday that those in the "political middle" are “willing to sacrifice immigrants," as a result of their neutrality.

Ocasio-Cortez said this in context to her support of Presidential Nominee, Joe Biden. She specifically was speaking to her audience, imploring them to register and vote. Low enthusiasm and turnout has historically been a problem for the Democrats.

“We need to act in solidarity and protection for the most vulnerable people in our society who have already experienced the violent repercussions of this administration. And the reason we need to do that is because yes, the political middle is willing to sacrifice immigrants,” she claimed.

“The political middle too often is willing to play both sides when someone dies to police violence. Absolutely. That’s why we need to show up.”
