According to survivors in the Boulder, Colorado grocery store at the time of the shooting which took place earlier in the week, the accused mass murderer Ahmad Al Aliwi Al-Issa is said to have been laughing as he carried out his killing spree. 10 people, including a police officer, were killed.

As the Denver Post reports, Angelina Romero-Chavez stated that while she and her boyfriend Amos Plentywolf hid from the gunman, "she could hear gunshots and what she believes was the shooter moving around, mumbling at times — and laughing."

Police also reportedly stated that "This guy is laughing at us."

Police records show that Al-Issa was arrested after firing a fatal shot at Boulder Police Officer Eric Talley, who was among the 10 victims slain at the super market.

The gruesome details of the massacre were revealed Saturday, five days after police say Al-Issa carried out the massacre, and a day after police stated they had not yet been able to find a motive for the killings.

Romero-Chavez and her boyfriend were able to save their own lives by hiding in a storage closet, however ten people were murdered that day inside King Soopers market. The accused is facing ten counts of first degree murder.
