The Liberal chair abruptly ended a Zoom meeting with the Finance Committee on Thursday. Wayne Easter announced he was ending the meeting just as Pierre Poilievre moved to have a motion on the WE scandal.

Prorogation of Parliament prevented any further investigation of the WE scandal, and since Parliament has come back in session, this meeting was the first opportunity to continue investigating corruption.

Pierre Poilievre's motion was specifically related to the "blacking out" of important points on the WE documents.

The motion could not be put forth in the end due to Easter muting everyone and ending the meeting.

This is a developing story.
