Carl Higbie: 'Science that can't be questioned is not science folks, it's propaganda'

During Newsmax's Saturday Report, host Carl Higbie raised a number of questions with his audience regarding COVID-19, the vaccine, and the mandates and policies that have been put in place by local and federal government.

"Science that can't be questioned is not science folks, it's propaganda," Higbie told viewers.

"Ideological lines are pretty much drawn on how people feel about COVID prevention, treatment, and all the steps to control it. So I'm not going to spend any more time defending those or defining them in any way.

"I obviously have my own feelings about the mandates and the vaccines and how serious COVID actually is, but instead of debating it, I want to ask you at home a few questions why you believe what you do, and I want you to be honest with yourself, okay, nobody's nobody's gonna judge you," Higbie said to open the segment.

"The first thing we need to get out of the way is the actual severity of COVID. What do you think the actual mortality rate of COVID is?" Higbie asked.

Citing a recent Franklin Templeton/Gallup research project, he said that "researchers found that Americans overestimate the mortality rate for people aged 55 or younger."

The study said that "on average, Americans believe that people aged 55 and older account for just over half of total COVID-19 deaths; the actual figure is 92 percent. Americans believe that people aged 44 and younger account for 30 percent of total deaths; the actual figure is 2.7 percent.'

"People are overestimating the death rate of COVID by a factor of greater than 12," Higbie said, noting that 94 percent of these deaths saw people with three or more comorbidities.

"That means only 6 percent of reported COVID deaths were solely from COVID. I mean, tragic as it may be, but 530,000ish recorded COVID deaths to date — that means only 31,000 of those over two years were actually solely of COVID. That's less than 16,000 actual COVID deaths per year," said Higbie. "For comparison folks, the flu the season before COVID came, there were 80,000 deaths of the common flu, and the data shows that people were dying of the actual flu not simply with it."

"Until we can agree on the actual number devoid of political talking points. We cannot have an honest conversation," Higbie added.

He questioned why the public perception of death rates were so far off, blaming the media in part for the results.

"Well, for one, the media has driven this campaign, and social media has censored you if you try to contradict the Fauci narrative. Fauci even said it himself about the Great Barrington project: a swift, devastating takedown of any doctor or scientist that disagreed with this prescription of lockdowns. Are you kidding me? That's fascism," said Higbie.

Higbie continued to question why hospitals are reporting so many COVID-19 deaths if 94 percent of them have died with COVID, not because of COVID, giving one suggesting: "Federal financial incentives."

"I know this is controversial, but hospitals were and still are heavily compensated for deaths of COVID. So if you came into the hospital because of a massive car accident, and while  on the operating table you tested positive for COVID, then the hospitals would record you as a COVID death if you died, not as a result of injuries sustained from being hit by a semi, because they don't get paid for that," said Higbie, noting the recent Joe Rogan Podcast episode that featured Dr. Robert Malone, who said that hospitals were reportedly receiving an sometimes over 30,000 in additional payments for COVID diagnosis and deaths.

"I also spoke to a senior Yale hospital administrator who confirmed that those payments can even be as high as $70,000 for a series of variables above normal reimbursements for non COVID cases," Higbie said.

Higbie’s next question for viewers was regarding mask and vaccine effectiveness, and whether they truly worked or not.

"If these two remedies are the gold standard for COVID, that's what COVID mitigation were told is, then why are we seeing significantly higher rates of COVID in heavily masked states," said Higbie.

"Why are there more deaths on Biden's watch with the vaccine available, then were under Trump in the same timeframe without one? Riddle me that Batman," he continued.

Higbie continued on to note the difference of vaccination rates in Israel and neighboring Palestinian regions, stating that if vaccines work, why do the two areas have the same death rate.

Why is Israel, with an extremely high vaccination rate, have the exact same COVID death rate per capita as the surrounding Palestinian region with less than an 18 percent vaccination rate?" Higbie asked. "According to the SWFI both populations have a death rate of .079 percent."

"These are, for all intents and purposes, very similar populations, very similar genetics and environmental conditions. In what is perhaps — this is could be the first real world large scale control group, vaccination rates made literally zero difference," he added.

"So I guess my next question is, why is the government so aggressively pursuing this one size fits all policy? All it does is inflame tensions and polarize the populations. I have no problem with you getting vaccinated. Why should you have a problem with me not?" asked Higbie.

Higbie continued on to state that he has previously had COVID-19, and noted that an Israeli study as well as 140 others said "natural immunities are far superior to the vaccine."

He said that he asked his doctor why he should get the vaccine if he had previously had the virus, and is young and healthy, with his doctor reportedly saying "it's being taken by everyone and it's safe."

Higbie said his next question to the doctor was in regards to negative side effects from the vaccine, and who would be responsible for the occasion. "Oh, Carl, these vaccines are safe," his doctor reportedly said. "Again, not the question I asked," Higbie added.

"And I'm getting notes from my children's school encouraging parents to get their kids vaccinated, but not a single person can provide me any data to the five year, the 10 year, or even longer term studies on the effects of this vaccine that it might have someday, because there is none," said Higbie.

"Even the inventor of the mRNA technology, Robert Malone, is not sure vaccinating children in maths is a good idea. Further raising suspicion as to why he was thrown off social media for this opinion."

"We already know Big Pharma is asking for over 55 years to release the vaccines. Everyone's question should be why?" Higbie continued.

He then questioned why any dissent against COVID-19 vaccinations is being banned from social media and other places.

"The greatest achievements in science have come from those that challenge the narrative," said Higbie. "If people didn't change it, or challenge it, we would still have we would still believe the Earth was flat that electricity was the somehow the hand of God and we would never have split the atom. Science that can't be questioned is not science, folks. It's propaganda."

Higbie concluded his segment by asking, and urging others to ask at town hall meetings, "What is the metric to get back to normal?"

"Because over two years ago, it was 14 days to flatten the curve. And everyone everyone should be really upset about this. What is the actual numerical benchmark and standard for lockdowns, masks, and any other draconian garbage to end?" Higbie asked.

"You've had two years to set this metric. How many cases how many deaths or whatever else it is? Tell me, folks, these are questions we all need to start demanding answers to," he continued.

"Having Joe Biden tell me that he's losing patience with me or promising me a winter of death, that's not persuasion. It's coercion. Avoiding my questions makes me ask more questions, not blindly comply. And I think you should feel start feeling the same way," he concluded.
