Queen's University removes Sir John A. Macdonald's name from law school
The online petition that called for Macdonald's name removal recommended the law school change its name to Patricia Monture Hall.

Alberta Premier, Jason Kenney , says he would be happy to take the destroyed 125-year-old bronze statue of John A. Macdonald from the City of Montreal and install it on the grounds of the Alberta Legislature.
Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, Erin O'Toole, was quick to speak out against the beheading of the statue of Sir John A. Macdonald in Montreal's Place du Canada. Trudeau has yet to release a statement.
