Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) has offered on Monday to not run for office again if officials drop the impeachment proceedings against him.

Cuomo is currently serving his third term as Governor of New York State, and his current term is up on Dec. 31 2022.

According to the New York Post, Cuomo's support appears to be waning. His top aide, Melissa DeRosa, resigned from her position on Sunday. NYC mayor Bill De Blasio, among many of his fellow Democrats, has also famously called for Cuomo's resignation on more than one occasion.

The embattled governor is also being called out all over the internet. Rose McGowan famously issued another statement saying that his "time is up."

McGowan's words appear to ring true, as State Attorney General Letitia James recently released her damning report on Tuesday that indicates that there is evidence that Cuomo may have sexually harassed 11 or more women in the course of his career.

The State Assembly Judiciary Committee is meeting on Monday to be briefed on the latest news regarding Cuomo's investigation, including any information Cuomo may have submitted on or before Friday in his defense.
