Democrat candidate Raphael Warnock has defeated Republican incumbent Kelly Loeffler in Georgia Senate race. While the race for Georgia's second Senate seat remains uncalled, Fox News has officially declared Reverend Raphael Warnock the winner.
Loeffler has yet to concede. She spoke to her supporters, asking "every single American, stay in the fight with us."
"We are going to keep fighting for you. This is about protecting the American dream. I'm never going to stop fighting for this country, for the American, for each one of you so that every Georgian has a voice in Washington," she continued.
Warnock spoke to his supporters as well, saying "Georgia I am honored by the faith that you have shown in me and I promise you this tonight, I am going to the Senate to work for all of Georgia." He continued, "no matter who you cast your vote for in this election, in this moment in American history, Washington has a choice to make, in fact, all of us have a choice to make."
The decision desk has yet to call the second Senate race between Republican incumbent David Perdue and Democrat Jon Ossoff. Warnock's victory in this crucial state means that if Ossoff is also victorious, the balance of power in the Senate will shift to the Democrats.
