The recount in Fulton County Georgia has been delayed due to a crash of a Dominion Voting System server. This is the third delay of the recount, and Dominion technicians have reportedly "been dispatched to resolve the issue."

While 88 percent of the ballots in Fulton County have been counted, the recount must be completed by Dec. 2. It is set to continue on Monday, according to Fox News.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger's office stated that they were aware of the problem and the measures being taken to "resolve" it.

Georgia's election was certified for Joe Biden on Nov. 20 by Raffensperger, and Gov. Brian Kemp signed off on that as well.

President Trump and his campaign have taken issue with that, citing voter fraud and irregularities. Trump blasted Raffensperger, saying:

"...I understand the secretary of state, who is really an enemy of the people, the secretary of state, and whether he's Republican or not, this man, what he's done, supposedly he made a deal and you'll have to check this, where [Abrams] is allowed to harvest but in other areas they're not allowed."

Trump was referring to Stacey Abrams, who is also reportedly holding weekly briefings with Hollywood influencers to help them bring the weight of their celebrity to bear in impacting the Georgia senatorial run-off races. These races, between Kelly Loeffler and Raphael Warnock, and David Perdue and Jon Ossoff, will determine whether the senate remains in GOP control or turns blue.

Trump has also said that he regrets having endorsed Brian Kemp in his gubernatorial bid.

Georgia has 16 votes in the electoral college. While the presidential election is likely to be fully decided in Biden's favour, it is essential that the voting process is in tact and accurate given the importance of the two senatorial races. If Warnock and Ossoff defeat GOP incumbents Loeffler and Perdue respectively, the federal government will be fully controlled by the Democrat party.

Dominion Voting Systems have been the subject of controversy across the country. The integrity of their voting software has come under fire most notably in Pennsylvania, where the state senate has convened hearings, which Dominion reps have refused to attend.
