"It is apparent that Mr. Teixeira is a whistleblower exposing the corruption of the Biden Administration," MTG wrote. "From day one, Joe Biden has lied to the American people about the war in Ukraine."

Following the arrest of alleged Pentagon classified documents leaker Jack Teixeira, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene sent a letter to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin demanding to know the extent of the United States' involvement on the ground in Ukraine.

The leaked documents stated that United States special operations soldiers are on the ground in Ukraine, despite the belief that the US was only funding Ukraine’s operation and not directly involved in the fighting.

"Nearly 100 special forces from Western countries, including more than a dozen Americans, have been operating on the ground in Ukraine, according to leaked classified documents. These classified documents were allegedly leaked by Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira, a 21-year-old member of the 102nd Intelligence Wing of Massachusetts," Greene wrote.

"It is apparent that Mr. Teixeira is a whistleblower exposing the corruption of the Biden Administration," she continued, adding that "from day one, Joe Biden has lied to the American people about the war in Ukraine."

"His decision to send billions of dollars’ worth of weapons and aid to Ukraine has engaged the United States in a proxy war it cannot afford, jeopardized peace efforts, and pushed the United States to the brink of nuclear holocaust," she wrote. "A US Troop presence in Ukraine was never authorized by Congress and demonstrates that Joe Biden is open to pursuing a broader conflict between two nuclear powers."

Greene demanded answers from the Department of Defense, writing, "It is vital for the Department of Defense to provide Congress with answers to the presence of US troops in Ukraine."

Greene demanded that the department tell Congress "What steps are the Department of Defense taking to make US military operations in foreign countries, funded by American taxpayers, more transparent so as not to be humiliated by leaks of classified documents?"

Greene also requested that the department reveal what type of military operations US Special Forces are conducting in Ukraine, whether Biden authorized the placement of American troops in Ukraine without the approval from Congress, and how many American servicemembers are currently stationed in Ukraine.

Teixeira was taken into custody by the FBI on Thursday from his residence in North Dighton, Massachusetts. Officials feared an armed standoff with the servicemember, but arrived to Teixeira reading on his porch.

Two US officials have said that investigators want to talk to the Airman about the leak. One official said Teixeira may have information relevant to the investigation.

"Jake Teixeira is white, male, christian, and antiwar. That makes him an enemy to the Biden regime. And he told the truth about troops being on the ground in Ukraine and a lot more," Greene wrote on Twitter. "Ask yourself who is the real enemy? A young low level national guardsmen? Or the administration that is waging war in Ukraine, a non-NATO nation, against nuclear Russia without war powers?"

The leaker, known as "OG," leaked the documents to an invite-only Discord channel, which had around 20 to 30 members in it.
