EXCLUSIVE: Women protesting male murderer in women’s prison violently attacked by Antifa

Dana Rivers was convicted of the murders of a lesbian couple and their son in 2016. Rivers murdered the women in their home, shot their son to death in the driveway, and set their home on fire to cover the evidence.

Women protesting the potential placement of a convicted killer in a women’s prison in Oakland, Calif. on Monday were attacked by trans activists. They were demonstrating in front of the Alameda County Court House, holding signs that read “Dana Rivers is a man” and “No men in women’s prisons,” speaking out against Rivers’ being housed in a women’s prison.

Lierre Keith, founder of the Women’s Liberation Front, attorney and author Kara Dansky, president of Women’s Declaration International, biology professor Arla Hile, and Jesika Gonzalez spoke out on the courthouse steps against men being permitted to be housed in women’s prisons, before moving to nearby Lake Merritt Park. It was here that they were attacked by Antifa activists.

Trans activists followed the women and attacked them, throwing eggs and pies and them and stealing their signs. The Antifa trans activists reveled in their violence.

“They’re attacking,” said one woman as the trans activists ripped their signs away. “These are the kinds of men we want to keep out of prison.” The men then sped off on their bikes.

In a video obtained by The Post Millennial, Keith, Dansky, and Hile spoke about the attack. They wore sashes that read "Woman Adult Human Female."

"We did an action this morning on the steps of the Rene C. Davidson Court House," Dansky said, noting that they gave speeches, along with Gonzalez. "We just gave talks about how important it is to stand up for the rights of lesbians, for justice for two women who were murdered viciously by Dana Rivers, and their teenage son. And to stand for incarcerated women throughout the state of California, throughout the United States, and all over the world."

"We came to this lovely public area," Dansky said, "we had a very interesting interaction with a woman who was here with her dog who was very curious about what we were standing for, and what we're standing up for.

"And all of a sudden," Dansky continued, "without any provocation at all, a group of men came toward us and shoved an open umbrella into my body, and then proceeded to throw a bunch of pies in our general direction. I got hit in the head by a raw egg. And I've got egg dripping all down my shirt inside and outside, I will have you know. That was my experience.

"Does anyone else want to share?" She asked.

"Well, I got hit hard enough to dislodge my glasses. And now there's pie in my eye. And it's actually pretty uncomfortable. So I'm just ready to rinse off," Hile said.

"They hit me all over the head," Keith said, "especially this eye is definitely hurting. So whatever. I can still see, you know, they're just cowards. They came, they hit us. It's a bunch of men hitting a bunch of women, as usual."

They said there were between 8 to 12 activists who attacked the women, one of them on a bike, another with an umbrella, and they "wrestled our banners out of our arms.

The activists, masked and in black hoodies, ran.

"They were quick because they're men," said Gonzalez, "they could easily overpower us, grab our signs and run away. That's all they were after, they wanted to steal our message from us."

"They want to shut us up," Keith said. "We're not allowed to talk because we're women. So we're right back to 150 years ago where women are not allowed to appear in public and we're not allowed to have opinions in public. But if you think that we are giving up our rights, you've got another thing coming."

"I mean, the people who did this to us, obviously," Dansky said. "You know, we are here in defense of lesbians and incarcerated women. These men clearly hate lesbians, incarcerated women and the women who will stand up for them. This was a physical assault."

The trans activist counter-protestors had issued warnings that they would get “TERFs out of Oakland,” and set their protest for the same time as the women’s rights group held theirs.

Rivers was convicted of the murders of a lesbian couple and their son in 2016. Rivers murdered the women in their home, shot their son to death in the driveway, and set their home on fire to cover the evidence.

Due to California laws allowing convicted persons to serve time in prison that corresponds to their gender identity and not to their biological sex, should they so choose, Rivers could serve time in a women’s prison. This despite Rivers’ crimes having been perpetrated against women and a child.
