On Thursday, five individuals were arrested by federal prosecutors in connection with the storming of the national Capitol on Jan. 6.

The charges stem from the allegation that the five colluded to purposefully disrupt the process of counting the Electoral College votes.

According to The Hill, William Chrestman, Cory and Felicia Konold were apprehended in Arizona. Christopher Kuehne and Louis Enrique Colon were arrested in Missouri.

To date, this is the largest group of co-defendants charged together in connecting with the events of Jan. 6

The five are all facing charges of unlawful entry, disorder, obstruction of an official proceeding and conspiracy to the above. They face up to 20 years in federal prison each if convicted on all counts.

In addition, Chrestman faces weapons charges and charges of threatening an officer of the law. Allegedly, he yelled to an officer once inside the Capitol: "You shoot and I'll take your fu**ing a** out."

The FBI has also stated that there is evidence that the group of five were coordinating their movements while storming the Capitol, and were equipped with tactical gear.
