Fox News Host Will Cain has called for Dr. Anthony Fauci to be fired, saying he is "power drunk," on Fox & Friends Monday morning.

Cain made these comments after Fauci proposed that there should be a vaccine requirement for all flights, and even domestic trips. On top of this, Fauci said that masks on flights should be mandatory for ever.

Cain said that Fauci was "simply out of control" during an appearance on Fox and Friends.

One Fox News host began discussing the incident, saying that there was a "sweeping vaccine mandate taking effect in New York City. Also on the Sunday shows, Dr. Fauci thinks that on flights people will be masked up forever and also signaled his support for vaccine mandates in order to fly."

"This is a massive overreach and it starts small with things that seemingly make sense like 15 days to slow the spread," they added. "You have to mask up during the height of the pandemic and now children are being forced to get vaccinated. You have vaccine mandates for small businesses and possibly a vaccine mandate in order to fly. It is outrageous."

To this, Cain responded by saying that "Dr. Anthony Fauci needs to be fired. He is simply out of control. He is power drunk. And I would ask any journalist who has access to Dr. Anthony Fauci: find the limits of his own power."

On Sunday, Fauci spoke to ABC about vaccine mandates for international travel, arguing that it was there to stop new variants coming in from abroad.

Fauci went on to say that it was simply the only way to protect the US from new variants. And he said Americans should cancel their New Year's Eve plans.
