"Let’s make our Western civilization great again!"
The J20 MAGA Watch Party took place at the Gaylord National Harbor’s RiverView Ballroom in nearby Maryland. Filming from inside the packed room, TV Republika host Michal Rachon said he was there with "American and Polish friends" and declared, "let’s make our Western civilization great again!"
Human Events Senior Editor and host of Human Events Daily Jack Posobiec said that "our great friends from Poland have ridden to the rescue like the hussars they are" in helping put on the watch party.
Speaking on Steve Bannon’s War Room, Posobiec said there was room for 1,500 people, "maybe 2,000," and expressed a "huge thank you to the Poles who came in and helped."
On Friday, it was announced that the inauguration would be moved inside due to extreme cold temperatures setting into the region. Trump wrote, "It is my obligation to protect the People of our Country but, before we even begin, we have to think of the Inauguration itself. The weather forecast for Washington, DC, with the windchill factor, could take temperatures into severe record lows. There is an Arctic blast sweeping the Country. I don’t want to see people hurt, or injured, in any way."
"Therefore, I have ordered the Inauguration Address, in addition to prayers and other speeches, to be delivered in the United States Capitol Rotunda, as was used by Ronald Reagan in 1985, also because of very cold weather. The various Dignitaries and Guests will be brought into the Capitol. This will be a very beautiful experience for all, and especially for the large TV audience," he added.
After his inauguration, Trump said he would later join those at Capital One Arena, which was opened to the public to watch the historic event.
