In a recent Joe Rogan Experience podcast episode, Rogan took aim at CNN and their anchors, telling the network to "f*cking change your model" and report "objective news."

Rogan issued the comments in his most recent episode featuring comedian Dave Smith as a guest.

"This is my perspective. If you're in business and your business is the news, and you want to get more people to pay attention, you should be honest," said Rogan.

"And my thoughts for CNN, my advice to them — I don't hate CNN. I used to go to them every day for the news until they start f*cking hating on me — If you want to do better, just f*cking change your model, change the way you do it," he added.

Rogan continued on to take aim at CNN hosts Brian Stelter and Don Lemon.

"Stop this editorial perspective with guys like Brian Stelter and Don Lemon that nobody listens to. Nobody is, like, chiming in saying, 'oh, yeah, finally we get the voice of reason.' Nobody thinks that. Have people that give out effective news, objective news, rather, and I’ll support you" he said.

Rogan also blasted CNN's coverage of his bout with COVID-19, and how he took ivermectin, which was more commonly referred to as "horse dewormer" in the media despite having other uses for humans.

"But I think the problem we're dealing with these news sources is the same kind of problem when we're talking about the view and the same kind of problem when they're talking about me, is that the answer to like, if people more people believe me, or trust me or want to listen to me talk, the answer is not to silence me, the answer is for you to do better. The answer is for you to have better arguments," Rogan said.

"When you're on television talking about how I'm taking horse paste, and you know, that's not true, 'oh, he's taking horse dewormer.' Instead of saying, which he should have said, how did Joe Rogan get better so quick? How come he got COVID that's killing everybody, and he was better in five days? Negative in five days, working out in six days. How come that's never discussed?" Rogan asked.

This comes after CNN discussed Rogan on a number of programs recently. On Wednesday, CNN host Alisyn Camerota admitted, "Well I admit I’m out of ideas for what to do about Joe Rogan. I’m officially out of ideas."

CNN anchor Jim Acosta and media correspondent Brian Stelter both issued their own statements regarding the matter.

According to The Daily Wire, Acosta said: You and I both know that compilation right there, which he has admitted to … that would be enough to put anybody out of a job. I mean, to me, it seems untenable to have that kind of video surface, that kind of compilation surface and keep one’s job … Joe Rogan can continue to host his podcast if people want to listen to it, they can, but it doesn’t have to be on Spotify."

Stelter added, "Companies like Spotify, Facebook, Twitter, they present themselves just as platforms, neutral platforms. But actually, Spotify, in this case is a media company getting in business to distribute Rogan. They don’t have to be in that business. I want to recognize there are reasons why Rogan has lots of fans, millions of fans. People want to hear his candid conversations, but there’s a difference between that, between candid, in-depth conversations, and the kind of vile that’s in this compilation."
