Liberals have falsely accused Texas real estate agent Pardes Seleh of "Russian propaganda" after she shared a viral TikTok video that mocked the US Army's progressive recruitment campaign and compared one of the animated "woke" ads to an advertisement for Russia's military.

The TikTok video, shared by Seleh on Twitter, places the Russian and American recruitment ads side-by-side to display the stark differences between the two nations attempting to entice young recruits. "Pick your fighter," Seleh added.

Seleh joined others online who compared the cartoon US Army video to the Russian Army's recent recruitment ad which showcases strength and masculinity.

A barrage of critics lambasting one of "The Calling" recruitment ads, which featured Corporal Emma Malonelord who was raised by two mothers, had forced the US Army to shut down the video's YouTube comment section for the "safety and well-being of our soldiers." To date, the video has received 1.4 million views on YouTube, ratio'ed by just 4,200 likes compared to 88,000 dislikes.

The ad was also met with backlash on Twitter. In response to Seleh's tweet, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz remarked that America's military is now "woke, emasculated" by Democrat politicians and mainstream media trying to turn soldiers into "pansies."

Seleh's real estate team has since been harassed, the realtor revealed Friday.

She stated that she's also been called "a Russian propagandist." The tweet on Friday linked Newsweek's piece on the TikTok video. Seleh noted that Newsweek had even contacted the US Army for comment over the viral tweet.

"These people have been trying to destroy my life for the past week because I shared a funny TikTok video that Ted Cruz retweeted. I don't even know how to answer this," Seleh tweeted Tuesday, referring to Insider's request for comment.

Business Insider reporter Tom Porter direct messaged Seleh, claiming that "[e]xperts on disinformation" have reported that the video she shared "originates in white supremacist forums on Telegram," an encrypted messaging app.

"Can you tell me where you first noticed the video and why you chose to share it?" Porter asked Seleh, regarding an Insider article set to be published later that day.

Portland State University geography professor Alexander Reid Ross tweeted that he saw Seleh's tweet "while monitoring fascist websites" and claimed that she "appears to have gotten it from a Dutch far right, pro-Assad account."

"The day before they posted, I saw it on Telegram from this channel that shares NazBol stuff. Weird pipeline," tweeted the adjunct lecturer and author of Against the Fascist Creep who has fellowships at Centre for the Analysis of the Radical Right (CARR) and in the United Kingdom and Political Research Associates.

Porter had cited the conspiratorial findings as the so-called disinformation expertise. "The Ted Cruz woke military video apparently originates in Russian Nazi forums on Telegram," Porter tweeted and then endured overwhelming criticism.

"I don't think I did anything that warrants a news piece," Seleh told The Post Millennial. "I literally just shared a TikTok video that people were already sharing around on Twitter." Seleh noted that after Cruz retweeted the video, she and everybody else who shared the clip "were suddenly labeled 'white supremacists' or 'Russian propagandists,' depending on the reporter and their intended narrative."

"Since then, people have been harassing my real estate team, who are quite apolitical and don't spend much time Twitter, alerting them that a 'Russian propagandist' (me) works for them," Seleh said Tuesday to The Post Millennial, "...it's crazy to me that people are going to call my employer every time I share something seemingly benign like that on Twitter."
