A marijuana dispensary in Walled Lake, MI is offering a free pre-rolled joint to anybody who comes in with proof that they have received the COVID vaccine.

"Pot for Shots" is what GreenHouse of Walled Lack and Ubaked Cannabis Company are calling it, in what may be dubbed a "joint effort" to try and encourage people to get the new vaccine.

According to local outlet Fox 2 Detroit, the number of vaccinations in the state has been trailing quite a way from expectations.

This is possibly due to confusion about who is eligible, as many people feel the rules are not clear and concise, as well as paranoia about the vaccine itself, as well as simply a lack of doses.

Jerry Millen, the founder of the dispensary offering the free weed, said:

"Our goal is to raise awareness of the importance of getting the Covid19 Vaccination as we as a community battle this horrible pandemic. 'POT FOR SHOTS' is our way of showing our commitment in assisting helping the community get back to normalcy,"

"We support the safe and responsible use of Cannabis and hope this is the beginning of the end of this insidious pandemic."
