Private jet company executive, Paul Alexander, 57, was arrested last week for allegedly trafficking and soliciting sex from two minors.

The Central Jet Charter CEO was arrested following a month-long probe by the NYPD and the state prosecutor’s office, according to a press release from the NY Attorney General. The investigation was dubbed "Operation Mile High," on account of Alexander's profession.

Officers began investigating Alexander in March after an underaged girl reported him for allegedly prostituting her and other underaged girls, according to the Attorney general. The investigation was headed by Detectives Antonio Pagan and Liam O’Hara, under the supervision of Lieutenant Amy Capogna, according to the press release.

An undercover agent posing as a prospective client approached Alexander, who then reportedly charged him $300 to have sex with a 14-year-old girl and a 12-year-old girl. Alexander also reportedly encouraged the agent to give the girls alcohol and marijuana to make them more docile.

Alexander was arraigned in Bronx County Criminal Court, Saturday, on multiple counts of sex trafficking of a child and other related charges, the NY Post reports. He will be the first to charged with the recently enacted crime of child sex trafficking in the state of New York, carrying a larger penalty under the law than the trafficking adults.

"There is nothing more reprehensible than sexually exploiting a child,” said Attorney General Letitia James.

"This individual’s alleged actions jeopardized the health and safety of our children and highlighted the critical need for these new protections that strengthen our ability to hold perpetrators accountable for these gross violations of the law. I thank the NYPD for their partnership in this investigation, and I will continue to use all the tools at my office’s disposal to hold accountable those who seek to abuse our children," she continued.
