After the New York State attorney general's office report on Governor Andrew Cuomo released earlier this week found Cuomo did indeed sexually harass his employees, actress Rose McGowan slammed not only Cuomo, but the Time's Up Movement as well as fellow actress Alyssa Milano.

McGowan called them out on Twitter Wednesday, calling the group "lizard people," and adding that "your time is up."

"Remember when Hollywood actresses and paid-off activists wore stupid black dresses at the Oscars? That was sponsored by Time's Up who were meant to help abuse victims. I told the world they are a lie 3+ years ago. I was mocked & harassed by so many who want to believe the illusion," wrote McGowan.

"Wake up. Hard truths are inconvenient & uncomfortable. So what, suck it up. Milano, TimesUp, fake performatives and profiteers. Alyssa's statement at the time was gaslighting in full effect. She said of my truth-telling 'Hurt people hurt people.' No, Alyssa, it's lizard people like you, SDK Knickerbocker, Gov Cuomo, the Pres, Tina Chen who hurt people. Your time is up. Exit stage left," she continued.

On Tuesday it was revealed that a co-founder of the Time's Up Movement, who spearheaded the #MeToo movement, helped draft an opinion piece that attacked the legitimacy of one of Cuomo's accusers.

2 members of Cuomo's administration, Richard Azzopardi and Melissa DeRosa drafted an op-ed that "denied the legitimacy of Ms. Boylan's allegations, impugned her credibility, and attacked her claims as politically motivated."

The op-ed was then sent to lawyer Roberta Kaplan to consult with, as well as one other person. Kaplan is a co-founder of the organization, which as set up to help victims of sexual harassment in the workplace.  According to the report, Kaplan, who is now acting as counsel to DeRosa, thought the op-ed was "okay with some changes."

Time's Up issued a statement condemning Cuomo's actions, but did not address Kaplan's role revealed in the report.

McGowan Democratic politicians in recent years, writing in 2019 after President Joe Biden was accused of past sexual harassment by Tara Reade that "I used to be a proud Democrat. I used to be a proud American. … Republicans have always been painted as the bad guys, and I've always seen them as more of a cult. But now I realize so are the Democrats and the media."

In 2020, McGowan attacked the Democratic National Convention on Twitter, slamming them for their lack of action to help poor, black and brown people, single mothers, or children.
