Toronto rapper Rowan Atkins is now in custody following a lengthy investigation into his whereabouts.

The Toronto-based rapper was wanted in relation to a December 2020 shooting, as well as calling for gun violence via social media.

Atkins, who also goes by Rolexx Homi, was named the primary suspect after the December 12 shooting, where one woman was injured and brought to hospital. She has since recovered.

Atkins had also been wanted for telling his social media followers to "shoot everyone in Regent Park."

Police say the arrest was made on July 12 after searching an address and stopping three men in a car.

Atkins and two others were taken into custody after the discovery of two Glock 9mm pistols, three magazines deemed over capacity including a drum-style magazine, as well as drugs and a bulletproof vest.

Rolexx Homi now faces 30 charges including attempted murder, break and enter, and threatening bodily harm, as well as drug charges.

Two other men were also charged with various offenses.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 416-808-2510.
