Following the news that Tesla and SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk will now be on Twitter’s board of directors, Twitter engineering manager Jay Holler went on a tirade on the social media platform, saying his appointment has "radicalized" and "broken" him.

Leading up to the announcement, Holler tweeted and retweeted posts expressing concern about Musk’s polls, and his subsequent buying of a majority stake in Twitter.

At the onset of the announcement Musk’s appointment, which occurred early Tuesday morning, Holler held a space called "Rage Out," in which he and co-host Ian Brown said Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal "sucks."

Holler tweeted that "For the first time, @Twitter leadership includes someone I had proactively Blocked on this platform."

At one point during the day, Holler suggested that Musk’s appointment has "radicalized" him, and that the announcement has "broken" him.

Holler also posted a thread of articles seemingly trying to explain to people why Musk and the companies he runs are bad, including articles that called Musk a "misogynist," "sadistic," and is transphobic.

In early March, Holler tweeted a substack piece titled, "The Coming Collapse of Elon Musk," in which the writer states that the public has "started to question the carefully constructed narrative that Elon Musk is an innovative genius, the green messiah that will help us save the planet, and, if that fails, colonize Mars."

"How does a man who harasses whistleblowers, abuses most laws, rules, and regulations, supposedly has employees spied on, and advocates for a greener future while creating a huge carbon footprint become the most prominent, richest person on the planet? This is a question we’ll ask ourselves when the Musk bubble bursts, but the reality is we already know the answer," the substack said.

"Crony capitalism combined with ultra-cheap monetary conditions has enabled Dr. Evil-type figures to pursue their wildest fantasies, all while figuratively mooning the authorities on their own front lawn. The list of Musk’s shenanigans is endless. It’s the Elonwashing era," it added.

Holler is just one of many Twitter employees complaining about Musk's new status within the company.

According to Andy Ngo, Holler was one of many that donated to the Minnesota Freedom Fund in 2020, which funded the bail of a number of rioters. Holler has also been seen on Twitter boasting about his second home in Michigan.
