"I think that's why they're mad, 'cause they're embarrassed."

"Fox Nation" host Tomi Lahren analyzed the media's coverage of "Let's Go Brandon," mentioning that the media is much more lenient in its coverage of President Joe Biden than they were with his immediate predecessor.

Lahren commented on the wave of media outrage over the Christmas Eve prank call when Oregon father Jared Schmeck ended the Santa-themed phone conversation with Joe and Jill Biden using the "Let's Go Brandon" slogan.

"I don't even think," Lahren said, "that they were so outraged at this dad for saying 'Let's Go Brandon.' I think they're more outraged, and, quite frankly, embarrassed, at the fact that their president said 'Let's Go Brandon, I agree.'"

"I think that's where they're really embarrassed, because they elected this man, and he just said something horrible about himself. He is not, apparently, in on the joke, even though people have explained it to him time and time again," she said.

"I think that's why they're mad, 'cause they're embarrassed," Lahren continued.

"But, let's also keep in mind, during the Trump administration, there were people with pink hats marching with signs degrading our president," she went on.

"People were saying far worse about President Trump, including every day, that he was Hitler, that he was a Nazi, that he was a white supremacist, and now they're upset that we say, 'Let's Go Brandon?'" Lahren questioned.

"When you compare the two, the treatment of Donald Trump and the treatment of Biden, I think it's safe to say that Joe Biden is getting off pretty easily. And, he seems to be enjoying it as well; he agrees," Lahren concluded.
