Greg Gutfeld roasted the mainstream media and most notably CNN on Monday, for their sycophantic coverage of President Joe Biden and his administration.

"This weekend, we learned two important things from the white house and they're enabled us media. Joe's favorite flavor of ice cream."

Fox cut to a clip of Jen Psaki, White House Press Secretary, speaking on a livestream for the administration.

Psaki said, "When I was in Wilmington before the president was inaugurated, I did ask him for my four year old niece Sariah, and was very curious about what the super ice cream wasn't his favorite ice cream is chocolate chip."

Gutfeld responded: "Amazing. And we also learned what Hunter Biden had for breakfast bagels. Let's hope he ate them. Can't wait for the daily report on regularity. I hope they're both getting enough fiber, but isn't it adorable? How fast?"

Gutfeld then targeted CNN's coverage of the Biden administration. "And yes, the media can change the rules, no strings to ice cream or bagels. CNN's Brian Stelter asks this question is president Biden, making news boring. Again, the answer is no, you are meaning you pretend that real news isn't happening under Joe, unless you think news is your latest complimentary cliche."

He continued by calling out the obvious hypocrisy of how the media covered current events which unfolded the first five days of the Biden administration, noting the hypocrisy of how they could have covered these same events If Donald Trump was still in the White House

"After a week in which we saw the White House banish the national guard to a parking lot, the obliviousness toward the Antifa riots, the lies about Trump not leaving a vaccine plan, a moratorium on natural gas and drilling, instead we get ice cream and bagels the idea that somehow news, thank God, is boring. Once you realize what CNN was obsessed with before. Tweets gossip tantrums tell all books. And of course those attacks on CNN, but all is gone with Trump. And what they chose to ignore in favor of that drivel of course, were months of riding and looting because that would make the Democrats look bad. They actually mock those who were concerned about that stuff."

Gutfeld concluded the segment specifically calling out the media for covering the accomplishments of the Trump administration. "Meanwhile, they also ignored this stuff that would have reelected Trump, like those Middle East peace plans and those amazing vaccines. But yeah, things are boring now. CNN. As 12,000 more Americans die from COVID since biding took office. Remember how not boring such numbers were under Trump. I guess when the Democrats in charge, the body count suddenly becomes reasonable, just like everything else under their watch."
