BREAKING: Trump says free speech under attack in America, 25th Amendment will come back to haunt Democrats

"Free speech is under assault like never before," Trump said. "The 25th Amendment is of zero risk to me, but will come back to haunt Joe Biden and the Biden administration. As the expression goes, be careful what you wish for."

President Trump went to the Rio Grande Valley on the Texas border on Tuesday to laud the border wall that has been built during his time in office. Building a wall between the US and Mexico was one of his primary and most-remembered campaign promises.

"Free speech is under assault like never before," Trump said. "The 25th Amendment is of zero risk to me, but will come back to haunt Joe Biden and the Biden administration. As the expression goes, be careful what you wish for."

"The impeachment hoax is a continuation of the greatest and most vicious witch hunt in the history of our country," he said, "and is causing tremendous anger and division and pain, far greater than most people will ever understand. Which is very dangerous for the USA especially at this very tender time."

Trump addressed the storming of Capitol Hill that occurred after his speech in Washington, DC, on Jan. 6, saying that "Millions of our citizens watched on Wednesday as a mob stormed the Capitol and trashed the halls of government. As I have consistently said throughout my administration, we believe in respecting America's history and traditions, not tearing them down.

"We believe in the rule of law, not in violence or rioting. Because of the pandemic, horrible horrible, invisible enemy," he said.

Trump went on to say that "That is why we are here today: to talk about what we must do to uphold the rule of law in America and how we must continue to support our law enforcement heroes."

Trump spoke about the construction process and materials used in the wall itself, as well. He said that he was "honored to be here in the Rio Grande Valley" to see the culmination of the border wall that was built to keep immigrants from crossing illegally.

"It's as strong as it's gonna get and as strong as you can have," he said. "We can't let the next administration even think about taking it down," he said.

"For years, politicians ran for office promising to secure the border–only to get elected and do the exact opposite. But unlike those who came before me, I kept my promises. Today, we celebrate an extraordinary milestone: the completion of the promised 450 miles of Border Wall."

Trump praised the policies of his administration, saying that immigrants who "enter the United States illegally you are apprehended and immediately safely removed. Without this core principal there is no border, there is no law, there is no order."
