Ben Shapiro and Tom MacDonald in their new rap collaboration, "FACTS," has hit number one on iTunes.

The collaboration was announced on Wednesday and the music video dropped at around 12 pm eastern. Within three hours the video has amassed 300,000 views on YouTube.

Both MacDonald and Shapiro sat down in an interview last May where the idea had been floated as a suggestion.

When the song hit the top of the charts, Shapiro wrote on X, “We're now #1 overall on iTunes, too. On the way, we knocked off, among others, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, Eminem, and Taylor Swift.”

Lyrics that the political commentator dropped in the rap included:

"Let's look at the stats,

I've got the facts.

My money like Lizzo, my pockets are fat.

Homie, I'm epic, don't be a WAP.

Dawg, it's a yarmulke, homie, no cap."

Shapiro has previously read aloud the lyrics to Cardi B's song, "WAP" in a podcast, to which many in the media sphere, up to and including outlets like Forbes, criticized as being a "mass humiliation."

When "FACTS" started climbing the iTunes charts Shapiro began posting to X and taking jabs at rappers such as Nikki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion.

"Hey Megan [Thee Stallion] we’re coming for thee," Shapiro posted.

Hey, [Nicki Minaj] it's great to join you atop the iTunes rap charts. Sorry, correction, you're a few slots lower."
