A stunning survey conducted by the CATO Insititute reveals that one-third of Generation Z supports the idea of the government installing surveillance cameras in private households.

The survey shows that while 75 percent of Americans reject the government installing in-home surveillance cameras, 33 percent of Gen Z support the idea.

According to the chart titled, "Would you favor or oppose the government installing surveillance cameras in every household to reduce domestic violence, abuse, and other illegal activity?," 29 percent of people aged 18 to 29 and 20 percent of people aged 30-44 voted in favor, while 94 percent of people aged 45 to 64 were against.

95 percent of people aged 65+ were also opposed to the idea, according to the data.

Overall, 75 percent of Americans rejected the government surveilling private households, 14 percent voted in favor, and 10 percent said they were unsure.

The CATO Institute also asked the same question to supporters of CBDC, otherwise known as Central Bank Digital Currency, which revealed that a 53 percent majority was in favor of the 1984 George Orwell-style surveillance.

56 percent voted "strongly support," 51 percent voted "somewhat support," 11 percent voted "neither support nor oppose," 3 percent voted "somewhat oppose" and 2 percent voted "strongly oppose," according to the data.
