A new poll from Fox News has revealed that Biden’s approval rating among several key voting groups is near record lows.

The poll found that 43 percent of women approve of Biden’s job performance, compared to the 42 percent lowest rating.

Among voters ages 45 and up, 41 percent approve of his job performance, compared to the low of 39 percent. This was the same for suburban voters, with 41 percent approving compared to the 39 percent low. Among suburban women specifically, Biden’s job performance is at a low of 41 percent.

Among rural voters, just 31 percent approve of his job performance compared to the 30 percent low. Democrat voters in general are at 81 percent approval, with 78 percent being the all-time low. Among Democrat men in particular, 79 percent of them approve of Biden’s job performance compared to the low of 78 percent.

Overall, Biden’s job approval stands at 44 percent, with 56 percent disapproving. The last time Biden received positive marks was in September of 2021, at 50 percent approval to 49 percent disapproval.

53 percent of voters disapproved of Biden's performance on national security, 54 percent on foreign policy, 60 percent on border security, and 64 percent on his handling of the economy.

74 percent approve of his executive order requiring criminal background checks on gun buyers, with 94 percent of Democrats, 76 percent of independents, and 53 percent of Republicans approving, and 54 percent approve of the Willow Project, an oil drilling plan in northern Alaska, with 51 percent of Democrats, 53 percent of independents, and 57 percent of Republicans approving. 

"Biden’s numbers cratered in the fall of 2021 after the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle and the onset of hyperinflation," said Republican pollster Daron Shaw, who conducts the Fox News poll with Democrat Chris Anderson. "Since then, his approval has barely moved, despite a midterm election, economic ups and downs, and several legislative policy rollouts."

The poll was conducted between March 24 and 27 in partnership with Beacon Research and Shaw & Company Research of 1007 registered voters. The poll has a margin of error of 3 percentage points.

According to RealClearPolitics averages of polls throughout Biden’s presidency, Biden crossed the threshold into a majority of Americans disapproving of his job performance in the days following the botched Afghanistan withdrawal which left 13 American service members dead.

His peak disapproval average was 57.5 percent on July 21, 2022.
