TPUSA's Defeating the Great Reset event took aim at the World Economic Forum, purveyors of the concept that “you will own nothing, and be happy.”

Steve Bannon got the crowd to their feet to declare their intention to defeat the Great Reset. “We’re gonna build an army of the awakened,” Bannon told the crowd, asking if they’re all in. They said they were.

“You’re the backbone of this country,” he said, before diving into the history of these concepts, and exploring how to defeat it, and to “burn it to the ground.”

Bannon, a supporter of populism, said that “the core of it is that we’re not going to take orders from our betters in the city of London, on Wall street, in Davos, Switzerland, and Beijing. We’re American citizens.”

Taking aim at the elites that perpetrate globalism at the expense of individuals, Bannon said “we are never going to back off the sovereignty of this nation,” quoting the American Carnage speech that Trump gave at his inauguration in 2017.

For Bannon, “we are hurtling towards a financial and economic crisis of incalculable destruction and disaster.” His perspective is that the US should not be funding the world, and should certainly not be funding a global order that has the destruction of the US in its sites.

He told the crowd that what’s really going on is that the global elites are using them as pawns, spending their money, taking their jobs, and demanding they give up their rights. He said that it’s “MAGA that’s had the stones… to make sure to turn this country around.”

"And Donald Trump is a very imperfect instrument," Bannon said. "Okay. But he is an instrument of divine providence. I saw it. I saw it in 16. It was divine providence that got us there, divine providence.

"Why? Because these demons and devils in places like Davos in the City of London and Wall Street, right? That's who our opposition is this a spiritual warfare. We're fighting in practical means, right? A battlefield is going to be the ballot box and the precincts. Because we're going to take what's been passed down to us from time immemorial: democracy, a republic, freedom, free men and women, that every battlefield that's ever anybody's ever died on has passed it down to us," Bannon said. "You might as well spit on their grave if we're to accept the party at Davos."

“They hate you,” he said of the elites to those who support Trump and stand up to the Davos WEF.

Kirk spoke first on Friday night, and in reference Speaking about the WEF, and their proposals for a new world order and the implementation of new global priorities, Kirk said “It’s about power. It’s about control. And it’s not just about remaking countries, it’s about remaking man itself.”

“It’s about trying to merge man into the end times of the eschaton merging with the machine. They talk openly about how they’re going to do this through something called transhumanism,” Kirk said.

Transhumanism is the intentional evolution of humanity through technological integration. It is a philosophy that strives toward eternal longevity. One of the ideas that comes from transhumanism is the integration of human consciousness with machines.

James Lindsay spoke about the origins of these concepts, and how they interplay with communism, Marxism, and the plans the WEF has to remake mankind.

"They say everything you have, you will rent and it'll be delivered by drone," Lindsay said. "Does that include your underwear because I draw the line. I don't know about all y'all in the room. I know it's hard to identify these days but I am a man and therefore I will buy my underwear and I will wear them till they fall apart. It's how we do things in America," he joked.

"But it's a serious question you have to ask," he said. "What in the world are they including in everything? They've done interviews with corporate leaders that go on to say, beyond you own nothing, be happy to explain how they say 'Well, the thing is, you don't actually want a product is what we've realized. You just want the benefit of the product. So maybe we'll keep the ownership of the product and we'll just sell you the benefit of the product.'

"You don't actually have to own anything, everything's on a subscription service," Lindsay said. "And they can take it away or turn it off whenever they want." For Lindsay, the social credit system will be what's used to determine who gets how much of what.

TPUSA hosted the first night of the Defeating the Great Reset in Phoenix on Friday, featuring Charlie Kirk, James Lindsay and Steve Bannon. The two day event continues on Saturday, featuring Jack Posobiec, Drew Hernandez, Pedro Gonzalez, and others.
