This comes as Trump has attempted to deploy the National Guard to help defend ICE facilities and curb violence.
The Rasmussen Reports poll found that 52 percent of likely voters support using the National Guard to defend ICE facilities. This included 39 percent who strongly supported the move by the Trump administration. A total of 43 percent of likely voters disapproved, including 33 percent who strongly disapproved.
The poll also asked voters, "Do you agree or disagree with this statement: 'We have seen, over the last nine months, an ongoing legal insurrection in which district court judges … have issued rulings that are flagrantly unlawful and unconstitutional'?" A total of 56 percent of likely voters agreed with the statement, while 31 percent disagreed.
Likely voters were also asked about whether they "approve or disapprove of the Trump administration’s program to find and deport immigrants who are in the US illegally," to which 53 percent said they approved, while 43 percent did not. The poll was conducted between October 7 and 9 of 1,184 US likely voters, and has a margin of error of 3 percent.
This comes as Trump has attempted to deploy the National Guard to help defend ICE facilities and curb violence. Trump ordered the deployment of the National Guard to Los Angeles, Chicago, Memphis, DC, and Portland, Oregon, among other areas.
Judges in some areas have issued orders blocking Trump from undertaking the effort. On Saturday, a federal appeals court issued a temporary order ruling that Trump was permitted to federalize the National Guard in Illinois but cannot deploy them within the state. A federal judge earlier in October blocked Trump’s deployment of National Guard troops from any other state to Oregon.

I think the approval numbers are slightly higher than the poll shows due to political views and keeping them private.
